Spring/Summer Age is determined by player’s age prior to May 1, 2008
Fall Age is determined by player's age prior to May 1, 2009
Rainbow Fields Baseball League originated as a Fall League,
to give teams a place to continue after their Spring
and Summer seasons ended. It
was designed for teams to “sign up as teams”.
As the competition became
popular, coaches and parents asked us to expand into Spring
and Summer. We now have three baseball
seasons.
Rainbow Fields does not place players on teams like
traditional leagues.
Individuals sign up as “Free Agents.”
There is no guarantee that a free agent will be picked up,
but usually about 90% find teams. Often
teams need extra players to fill out their rosters. They get these players from the “Free Agent
List.” Occasionally, a coach with one
or two players will form the remainder of his team with Free Agents.

interested in coaching or assisting.)
By filling out this form, you are giving permission for Rainbow
Fields to make your player’s name and information available to prospective
coaches.
The coach (not Rainbow) will call the parents or player and announce
try-outs or practices.
Rainbow Fields does not schedule practices or determine the number, frequency,
or location of team practices.
No
fees are due when signing up. You will
pay the coach directly. The coach is
responsible for getting the entire team fee to Rainbow Fields. Once a player has joined a team, (played, paid, or commited to the coach) he or she cannot play for another
Rainbow Fields League Team during the same season. (Tournament
participation is separate.)
Refunds are at the discretion
of the coach. Get to know a little about
the team before making a commitment.
