IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON COVID-19:
EFFECTIVE JUNE 18, 2020 MANDATORY FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR ENTRY
Due to concerns surrounding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and other health authorities, Rainbow Sports Complex is implementing several new health and safety procedures as part of a proactive approach to help prevent the spread of germs.
Maintaining Good Hygiene Practices
The following policies and procedures have been implemented at Rainbow Sports Complex
MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER
• All employees having direct interaction with guests or items for our guests are required to wear latex gloves at all times.
• Hand sanitizer stations are available in select locations throughout the facility/complex.
• We are taking extreme measures to ensure the facility, restrooms, equipment, tables, chairs, and counters are disinfected each day and more frequently during leagues and tournament weekends.
• Any person who might be feeling ill are encouraged to immediately seek medical attention and not come to Rainbow Sports Complex.
Rainbow Sports Complex Facility
Rainbow Sports Complex Indoor Club House only holds a max capacity of 180 people.
Additionally, we have 22 acres of outside softball complex to safely and comfortably distance yourself from people if you feel inclined to do so.
We will have numerous hand sanitizing stations distributed throughout the facility.
“No-Contact/No-Handshake” Policy As a second precautionary method, Rainbow Sports Complex, in accordance with policies implemented by tournament organizations, is immediately instituting a mandatory “no-contact, no-handshake policy” to be observed at every level sports play until further notice. This includes all physical contact and extends to customary game related activities, such as pre-game coaches’ handshakes, umpire-coach introductions, and post-game handshakes between members of opposing teams. Instead, staff, players and coaches should use verbal queues, such as saying “good game,” without shaking hands, high-fiving or fist-bumping.
To play/practice at Rainbow Sports Complex we ask that you please fill out our waivers.
Teams waivers and individual waivers need to be filled out and turned in before entering the complex. Waivers can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The safety of our players, parents, coaches and staff is our first priority.
We understand some of these changes might be challenging but if we all work together and take these precautions we can enjoy and play softball/baseball in the safest way possible.
Thank you for understanding as we move forward.
